Spiritual Old-Age Community

Who Can Join?

Our community welcomes seniors drawn to a spiritual life, a sentient (sattvic) diet, and a simple Gurukul-inspired routine. Membership is free of cost; donations are appreciated but not required. All residents agree to keep the campus peaceful, follow daily rhythms according to their health, and reserve accommodation in advance.

Eligibility

  • Senior citizens (typ. 60+). Younger applicants with special circumstances may be considered case-by-case.
  • Inclined toward spiritual practice (meditation, kiirtan, study, service).
  • Comfortable with a sentient vegetarian diet and substance-free campus.
  • Willing to live by a Gurukul-style routine—simple, disciplined, and community-oriented.
  • Ananda Margiis, spiritual seekers from any path, and sannyasis are welcome.
  • Able to participate in daily life with or without light assistance; higher care needs are reviewed for safety.

Commitments

  • Maintain peace and decorum; be kind in speech and action.
  • Follow the daily routine (meditation, light yoga, satsang, meals) as health permits.
  • Keep personal space tidy; respect shared spaces, gardens, and quiet hours.
  • Participate in community life—music, study circles, gardening, or seva—at your own pace.

House Norms

  • Substance-free campus (no alcohol, tobacco, recreational drugs).
  • Vegetarian kitchen with sattvic guidelines; outside food by prior approval only.
  • Visitors during posted hours; overnight guests with prior consent.
  • Respect privacy; photography/recordings only with permission.
