Shrii Shrii Anandamurti
Sadguru Ta’rak Brahma Mahasambhuti Ba’ba’ (Shrii Shrii Anandamurti), revered as the Incarnation of Shiva and Kṛṣṇa, founded Ananda Marga and Ananda Marga Gurukula. The Anandanagar Gurukula Trust (ANGT) follows his guidelines to develop Anandanagar—about 525 sq km—into a resilient, service-driven community. Phase one centers on medical education, care for the needy, and a spiritual environment, beginning with a Para-Medical College, Nursing College, and Spiritual Senior care center, and advancing research in microvita and integrative healing, including proposed hormone and electro-nuclear research centers.
Born in 1921 in Bihar, Ba'ba' adapted Tantra Yoga into a rational, practical path of self-realization and service. In 1955 he launched Ananda Marga, which grew worldwide across education, relief, ecology, arts, women’s empowerment, and socio-economics. He introduced Neohumanism, authored works on linguistics, proposed Microvita as subtle building blocks of life, composed 5,018 Prabhat Samgiit songs (1982–1990), and articulated PROUT for just, sustainable utilization of resources. Despite persecution and imprisonment (1971–1978), he was acquitted and led rapid global expansion until 1990. He continues to inspire us.
Today, ANGT is translating this legacy into a living campus of living, learning and service: an integrative medical and care hub, research labs exploring microvita and holistic health, eco-friendly Master Units that model self-reliant living, and value-based education that blends science with spirituality and social responsibility. Rooted in Neohumanism and PROUT, our roadmap emphasizes ethical leadership, empowerment, environmental stewardship, and dignified livelihoods for all. We invite scholars, practitioners, donors, and volunteers to co-create this resilient nucleus at Anandanagar—where devotion, knowledge, and service move together for the welfare of the world.
Gurukul Song
Composed by Ba'ba' on the eve of his physical departure from this mortal world. May we continue to further his legacy through our benevolent actions every day.

A’mra’ gar’e nobo gurukul

Keho na’ tha’kibe piche

English
We shall establish Gurukul.
We shall color each and every bud with the effulgence of knowledge.
No one will remain distant;
we shall sound every string of the lyre.
We will bind everybody with the thread of love
and create a garland of incomparable beauty.
No one will be left behind;
No one shall be pushed to the bottom.
All will exist as kith and kin,
with their minds full of sweetness and tenderness for all.
We shall establish the Gurukul.
We shall color each and every bud with the effulgence of knowledge.
We shall establish Gurukul.
